PE
Nursery have PE lessons on a Friday and must come to school in their PE kit.
Reception have PE lessons on a Friday and must bring their PE kit to school in a small drawstring bag.
Reading
In Nursery, children will be given a reading for pleasure book. We encourage you to share this with your child and discuss the pictures and story. These will be changed every Friday so please ensure it is in your child's book bag on this day.
In Reception, your child will be given a reading book that matches their phonics level together with a reading record. Please try to read with your child at least three times a week and record when you have done so in the record book. Please ensure that this pack is brought back into school every day in their school bag, even if you have not had a chance to read together at home. In addition to this, children will also bring home a reading for pleasure book every Friday for you to share together. Please send it back to be changed each Friday.
If you would like any more information about our class, please do not hesitate to contact us via the school office.
